Abstract

|
2 cases of acute postpartum renal failure with microangiopathic Hemolytic anemia are reported with the brief review of literature. In 2 patients pregnancy has, been complicated by pre-eclampsia The presence of intravascular coagulation was indicated by thrombocytopenia, increase in fibrin degradation product in the serum and by the finding on renal biopsy of intra arteriolar and intraglomerular thrombosis.
